Amazonian Wednesdays 🌴

Such a meaningful story. This one is from April of last year:

“All eight of them knelt down in their little hut and received Jesus as Lord!” exclaimed Dulce.
I have mentored Dulce for twenty years. As long as I have known her, she has had a beautiful heart to reach out to those in need. She has fed the hungry, cared for the sick, clothed new babies born to unwed mothers, sat with the dying, wept with the bereaved, and spent her life sharing Jesus with everyone she encounters.
She began a teaching job in a new neighborhood last month, a desperately poor area. She shared this with me soon after she started: “I visited two of my little girls today. I found them crying from hunger. I bought them some rice and eggs so they could eat. It tears me up inside. So many here are crying with hunger pangs.”
