A sister dear to my heart shared the details of her God-story with me last month. Translated from Spanish, these are her words:

Three years ago, in November 2019, my life was turned on its head. One day I woke up, and I could not swallow my food. That day, one of the most painful battles of my life began. It was to last for over two years.
Somehow during that time, I survived on only liquids. Some days, I could not even swallow fluids. I lost over 20 pounds. I got sicker and sicker. I went to doctor after doctor, looking for help. The medicines they gave me just made me feel worse. It was so painful to be intensely hungry and unable to eat.
Often I felt like I could go on no longer. It seemed like this sickness had no cure. When things reached crisis level, I went to the emergency room. An endoscopy revealed severe bacterial pancreatitis.
How I needed a touch from God! Anxiety stole my sleep away, leaving me exhausted. One day I cried out to Him, asking Him for peace and rest. I clearly felt two hands gently touch my head. I lay down and fell asleep. God healed the insomnia that day.
