Parkinson’s Healing Begins a Ripple Effect

“Father, if You heal me, it will be a sign. I will know that You want me to pray for others for healing too!” Eusebio prayed these words with tears streaming down his cheeks. Parkinson’s disease had marked two years of his life with nearly unbearable suffering. How he longed to be healed.

And he was! You may recall that story from last May. After standing in faith for those two years, he was suddenly healed at a corporate fast we held at the Missions School. He hasn’t had a single symptom since then.

What Eusebio has had is an intense desire to see God move in power in others’ lives. Together with another brother, he started a new cell group. Soon, the opportunities to partner with the Holy Spirit came pouring in. After all, God had fulfilled the sign Eusebio had asked for. Remembering his prayer about that sign, he began to pray for the sick eagerly.

Soon, an urgent case came to his attention. His cell group had been reaching out to a man named Ramiro. Word reached Eusebio that Ramiro was in the hospital. He had suffered a stroke. Half of his body had become completely paralyzed.

Eusebio rushed to the hospital. He spent an intense time of prayer at Ramiro’s bedside, crying out to God for His touch. Eusebio took authority and commanded healing to enter every part of Ramiro’s body. The next morning, Ramiro felt something very different as he woke up. He got up out of bed, completely healed! He was released from the hospital that very day.

In his overflowing gratitude, Ramiro became a committed member of the cell group. Today, you will find him every Sunday at church. Eusebio looks at him and smiles. He exclaims, “How I wanted to pray for people like me!”

Look what God did… AGAIN, my friend!
