Making an Impact on the Utmost Ends of the Earth

A special aspect of our summer times is that we receive groups from churches around the States who visit us to come alongside our ministry and bring unique ministry gifts to build up the church and reach out to the lost.

This last June-July, a group from Grace to the Nations, Centro Cristiano Esperanza, and Christian Faith Center, Tucson, AZ, came down to Iquitos for a successful missions trip. They blessed us by painting our church building and helping out with the medical clinic mentioned in last month’s newsletter. They also were able to take a river trip to the area known as Santa Rita. One of the team members, Natalie Cooper, nineteen years old, tells of the experience:

“Well, our river trip to Santa Rita was good! Even though it took us twenty-six hours by boat to get there, we were all blessed. The first couple days we held about three services a day. Pastor Jose and and Pastor Mauro spoke to the church there, then afterwards we prayed for anyone who wanted prayer.
