Being God’s Hand

“Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person” (Proverbs 3:27, MSG).

I want to say a special thanks to my friend Gina Greathouse for today’s post. She shared this beautiful testimony, and then gave me permission to pass it onto you here. God has her and her husband Neil in Little Rock, AR, doing amazing things in partnership with Him. These are her words, as is the screen capture of the verse:

“One of my favorite things about Downtown Little Rock is that it looks like the city. It’s a combination of rich and poor, black and white, young and old. The heartbeat is mission minded. And today I was reminded in a profound way of how God loves His people. I feel humbled on a weekly basis hearing the stories from the amazing people who call this their church home. Today’s story definitely got me in the feels! 

If you know me, you know I’m a momma through and through and love children, especially those itty bittys. Neil read a connect card today during his emcee spot as an example of the prayer needs that come in weekly. This momma who’s only been coming to church with us for a month asked for prayer. She has an eight-week-old son in the NICU and she is homeless. She asked that we pray she find a home so that DHS not take her child from her 😭😭😭.
