Rejecting Saul’s Armor

It’s audio devo day!

Young David knew that he had to take off Saul’s armor in order to walk in what God had for him. When he did so, he slew Goliath Saul’s physical armor represented false spiritual armor: that of trusting in men instead of in God. In today’s episode, we talk about getting free of the fear of man and learning instead to be in amazed by the Lord of Hosts. When we learn to live off His affirmation, we will not be trapped by dependency on human praises.

I pray that God would meet you in a very special way as you tune in here:

The fear of man can be very subtle in its expressions. What are some specific ways you have seen it operating, masked as something good?

  1. Really enjoyed this audio devotion. Focusing on God, growing in awe of Him so that the thought darts from the enemy does not land and take a hold. May we shed off the fear/opinions of man and be amazed by God.
Thank you my sister in Christ 💙
