Beverly is 18 years old. In March of last year, the Holy Spirit convicted her heart during one of our meetings, and she surrendered her life to Him. She went to our Encounter youth retreat, plugged into discipleship, and has been serving the Lord with all her heart since then. Her grandmother, a faithful sister in our church, had prayed her into the kingdom. Beverly related to me later how she could not stand to see her grandma, who raised her, crying because of the things that she used to do. Beverly was ripe for the harvest, and the Spirit drew her in.
A few months ago, the youth cell group that Beverly was attending was about to fall apart, as the leader had become discouraged and decided to stop holding meetings.
