“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Ps. 118:24, NKJV).
If this is the day that the Lord has made – and it is! – then it follows that this is the week that the Lord has made… and the month that the Lord has made. And this is the year that the Lord has made!
He has made 2021 for you. Before the timeline of ancient history even began to unfold, He had planned the next twelve months out with unfathomable precision and care. He has so much in store for you this year, as you seek Him with all your heart.
Just a few thoughts for us as we embark on the new set of adventures ahead:
1) Let’s live 2021 out of our oneness with Jesus. We are one spirit with Him (1 Cor. 6:17). In everything that is to unfold, let’s lean into that precious bond we have with Him. Let’s let everything we do and say flow out of it. Let’s only say what He’s saying and do what He’s doing.
2) Let’s live this New Year out of the place of our belovedness. He loves you and me with an everlasting, unbreakable love. Do you hear that? You are perfectly loved. Let His perfect love for you show you the way forward every morning this year.
3) Let’s live forgiven this year. The blood of Jesus has spoken for you. It has said you are forgiven, and nothing in the universe can alter that pronouncement. Run headlong into His unfolding plans in the freedom of your forgiven-ness. You are at peace with God – what a glorious way to begin the fresh window of time opening ahead of us!
In 2021, if God is for us, who can be against us?? This is the year that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!

What are you dreaming of for 2021? I would love to hear about a special aspiration or hope you have for the New Year 😊.
These are great things for us to strive for in our daily walk with the Lord. I hope that suggestions like you have given, Jenn, will help folks to hit the reset button from 2020 and move forth in godly confidence into this new year.
Blessings,
Chuck
BTW: My most recent post used Psalm 118:24 for its basis!

Happy New Year! I love these truths of how we should live everyday, every week, every month and the whole year 2021! I am super excited for what God has instore for me this year. Last year was hard yet he shielded me and my family that even the crazy could not take us down, we grew through the struggles and am up for more growth this year – am very hopeful for what He has in store – I start with a clean slate and I let Him fill the page!
Miss you!

Great post. Thank you.
My goal is to write what I never planned but He has begun to inspire. Shafts of GOLD – the story of my life….. not about family etc but about a shy little girl’s journey to find God and how He revealed Himself in shafts of gold through many valleys and on hilltops as well, The society around me flung me into lots of questioning places but the God I found is now my TRUTH and AWESOME beyond comprehension. He is indeed LORD!
