The Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness

It’s audio devo day!

Is humility synonymous with self-criticism? Not in the slightest. True humility develops when we become entirely taken with the beauty of Jesus. As our gaze moves move and more onto Him, we forget about being too focused on ourselves. What glorious freedom results when He becomes our everything! I know He has something special for you as you listen here:

Encouraged by this? Know someone else that needs to hear it today? You can either share today’s blog link with them, or look up my Feeding on Jesus podcast for sharing and subscribing. You’ll find it at these links on iTunesGoogle PodcastsStitcher, and most other podcast platforms, with episodes identical to these audio devos!

How do we follow through with the Scriptural instruction to “examine ourselves” (2 Cor. 13:5) without falling into obsessive introspection?

    1. I’m smiling because it brings me joy to have your input. The reason for the change is that my teenage son has been editing my audio devos/podcasts because he was looking to earn some extra money from me. This was his idea so I have let him experiment with it. He’ll be moving to the U.S. probably in January so I am not sure if he will continue doing it at that point. But I will surely keep this in mind! Sending you lots of love my treasured sister.
