The Light in Your Eyes

“The light in the eyes [of him whose heart is joyful] rejoices the hearts of others, and good news nourishes the bones” (Prov. 15:30, AMPC).

Do you have someone in your life who fits the above description… a joyful person who carries an inextinguishable light in their eyes? Can you relate to what this proverb says about them – that they rejoice the hearts of others?

I have the pleasure of knowing some individuals like this. What a delight their company is! Their presence brightens up any gloomy, draggy day. When you are enduring prolonged battles, this is the kind of friend you want to have in your corner. Just five minutes around them, and life starts to look like a better place.
