Do you ever get tired of the enemy attacking you? I know I do! However, this Scripture teaches us that even spiritual warfare has a beautiful purpose in our lives. It’s precisely when these difficulties come that the Holy Spirit will show up in dazzling glory to empower us. In other words, the more the adversary comes against us, the more glory we will be privy to!
When I am weak, then I am strong.
When I am attacked, then I am overwhelmed by the beauty of Jesus.
When I am feeling hard-pressed, it means He is taking me deeper. Deeper and deeper, by progressive increments, into the revelation of my utter dependence on Him. Into the revelation of how surpassingly able He is to flow through my weakness in glorious strength. Every time something comes against me, it’s beautiful news! I get more of Jesus!
*****************************************************
What if we viewed every difficult circumstance as a bridge to cross over deeper into the revelation of Jesus? Is this possible?
It does seem to be a reliable spiritual principle, though at the time of attack I usually feel wretched and have to lament and wallow in a bit of ouch! But then I pick myself back up, get on my knees and shrug sheepishly in repentance or relinquishing, and am comforted by the warm smile on His face.

As we age the trials may increase but the TRUTH of Life lived ‘in Christ, is that “in the valleys’ is where the richest times of His fullness of Grace .is most revealed. We should REJOICE on the Hilltops to get from HIM alone His Strength and HIS PRESENCE to carry with us. Blessings! Thank you, Jennifer,

God never gives us more than we can handle. The strength He provides if we lean into that discomfort with Him by our side is immeasurable. But as others have said it is difficult to do in the moment. But that is when we must trust him the most. I’ve failed at that several times this week, but I’m trying to be better at it.
Thank you for yet more spiritual encouragement.
