It’s audio devo day!
The enemy cannot fathom humility. He has no frame of reference for it. He has no defense against it. When you choose humility, you choose spiritual safety. Humbling yourself vanquishes your foe — every single time.

Do you associate humility more with weakness, or with strength? Please share your thoughts on this.

When we do not speak the language of the enemy of our souls, and come in the opposite of pride, we win. Also, showing love in the midst of hatred also wins! Blessings!

That is an incredibly important principle, Hazel. Coming in the opposite spirit takes the enemy completely off guard every time! Thank You Holy Spirit for this beautiful wisdom. And thank you my sister for sharing it!

You’re welcome, Jennifer! I have seen the enemy be stopped by this many times. He uses fear to rule and doesn’t understand love. Pride flees in the face of humility! The list goes on and on but God’s truth is timeless! Glory to God! \o/

Admitting when we are wrong, when we have erred, or agreeing someone else knows best when they do, can be one of the most difficult things to do. Yet, when we take that step to apologise, or to listening intently and actively as someone explains the reasoning for why something works differently to how we thought are some of the most rewarding experiences we can have.
Jesus showed us what owning humility completely and wholly looks like. Trusting the father with all, even when it was hard.
As always, thank you for sharing scripture and your beautiful stories alongside. 🙂

Truly my pleasure! And I have so enjoyed your thoughts on this matter as well. May the Holy Spirit make us more and more like Jesus, gentle and humble in heart.
