(Note: Just a quick post for today, as I’m writing this on my birthday [2/18], and I’ve been busy celebrating 😉)

Highlighting this verse again because there’s one more thing I wanted to share about it… one more thing about the dreams that God uses to speak to our hearts.
The second part says, “I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.” There’s something about dreams that God crafts just for you. He’ll take symbols that are very personal to your heart to create them. When you take time to treasure His night messages to you, you will discover just how intimate they are.
A dear friend of mine told me about a dream she received that took place in Disneyworld. That amusement park is a very special place to her. She treasures a lot of memories that she has there. So Holy Spirit picked a context He knew would be meaningful to her, as the backdrop for what He wanted to communicate.
Daddy God knows your inmost self so well! This is what is meant by “He calls you by name.” He pays close attention to every detail of your soul, every huge and tiny thing that means something to you. Through dreams, He speaks your own heart language, “so that you may know.” He wants you to know, experientially, what a personal, intimate God He is. He wants you to understand, deep in your heart, that you are fully known and wholly cherished.
