“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways” (Job 22:28, NKJV).
Your declarations have immense power. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue, and we will eat of its fruit. That means that our words will produce the fruit of our future, whether sweet or bitter, and we will eat that fruit. No getting around it. The power of your tongue is steering the boat of your destiny.
You were created in the image of the Creator God. He said “Light be!” And light came into existence. He calls the things that are not, as if there were. Dear image-bearer, you are called to do the same. You, too, call forth His light into the darkness around you. Declare His Kingdom come in the environment where He has placed you. Allow the Holy Spirit to discipline your tongue, that you habitually only release words of blessing. Bless and do not curse. Let only sweet water flow from the fountain within you.
Yes, you can release the Light of the world into the circumstances around you. “And it will be established for you.” There is way more power released than you realize when you speak His words of life. You may not feel it in the moment. But it’s working mightily. Believe it. When you make this your lifestyle, “light will shine on all your ways.”

Do you have a story to share about relentlessly declaring God’s truth and God’s Word into your difficult situation, and later eating the delicious fruit of victory?
Amen!

Jennifer, as I think on events in my life, where speaking the truth in the presents of evil and dark forces, I have witnessed the power of the spoken word in due season. Yes, I have seen the enemy crushed in hostile encounters. The details, I dare not speak for they often prompt my flesh to take credit for this victory in Jesus. I give thanks to the Lord for using me as an instrument for His Glory. Amen Len Wisniewski

Praise God! I’m rejoicing with you, my brother, for the privilege of being His earthen vessel! How precious to have His breathtaking treasure inside and moving through us to affect positive change in the world around us!

Thank you Jennifer! God always finds ways to have the last word. His sovereignty reigns supreme.
The forthcoming adoption of a young girl brings blessings from God to a daughter and her husband, which in turn has helped my wife move forward with a more positive outlook. This has, in God’s infinite wisdom, blessed our marriage as well.

a big a-men from me too. Thank you again for this reminder and comment on shining the LIGHT. For many of us as we age it becomes necessary to BE by our lives and our treatment of others (only God can bring this about) as Jesus in our homes, in our communities. Please Father Continue to mould us ALL into Your Image. a-men.

Amen and amen! I agree — as the years pass, we learn more and more and more the importance of BEing over doing. And yes, only He can do such a beautiful work in us! ❤ 🙂
