Passionate Like God

Joyful Jump

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” (Col. 3:23, NIV).

God is a God full of passion. He made us in His image. This means that we were designed to be passionate like Him. If we live our lives just to be comfortable, or just to meet the bills, we will find ourselves greatly dissatisfied. Creature comforts and entertainment only go so far. They can never truly fill the yearning in our souls to live out God’s Great Adventure.

Have you discovered what unique giftings and talents that God placed inside you? In the entire universe, there is only one you. No one else can bring to this world what you were born to offer. And until you discover the unique design He put inside of you, you will languish.

Find out who you are. What makes you come alive? Don’t settle for life without that fire. God’s Great Adventure awaits you. When He tells us “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,” He knows. He knows that this is the only way we will feel truly alive.

You and I were born for passion.

What does it feel like, when you find the thing you were created to do, and you do it with all your heart?

  1. This verse is one of my guiding principle when it comes to work and everything I do. I tell myself if I am going to do it half-hazardly then its better not to do anything! I am blessed God has guided me to my passion of flowers and people! I am living it to my best everyday and thanking Him for giving me this passions!
